"The lakes was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were clean and very large. They have carpet which I don’t love but were very clean and comfortable.it would be nice to have the restaurant open for breakfast as there really isn’t anywhere nearby that serves breakfast. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and the food was very good! They didn’t have a tee time available which was disappointing but overall it was very good value and I would certainly recommend it."
"We stayed in the cabin and it was a a basic one room cabin with only microwave and mini fridge. The nicest thing was the rain shower head in the shower. The bed was a queen with little room on each side of it. Probably would have been better with a king room in hotel. You had to request room service as we did after the first day. The other issue is the restaurant on site wasn’t open till 4pm and closed on Monday. The staff is great but they have really limited staffing so they do the best they can as restaurant limits reservations as they are the bartenders, servers, and they clean up the tables plus handle many tables so you need your patience. Also no one is at the desk till 4pm so when you check out you just leave your key at the desk."
"The property is in a great location with restaurants and shops a short walk away. We stayed in a 2nd floor unit with a beautiful view of the lake. The building we were in didn't have an elevator so be prepared to carry your bags upstairs if you're not on the ground floor. Our room had been renovated with the exception of the bathroom, which was definitely a little dated, but completely functional. We did have an issue getting more than luke warm water for our showers the morning of our check out. The front desk simply said it was likely due to the amount of people using showers at that time. It was inconvenient but certainly didn't ruin our stay.
We had dinner on the outside patio. The restaurant and patio aren't fancy but the food and the service were both great."
