"Very descent apartment, with smart system room. They provide washing machine. The bathroom can be used as drying room. Next to family mart, closed to some other 24h stores. A lot of restaurant nearby: mcD, pepperlunch, ootoya, sukiya. Only 100m from Higashi Shinjuku Station. Love our stay much."

"We loved staying at this apartment! The room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The washing machine was a great perk, and the location was super convenient with mini markets and a train station nearby. "We stayed here for a week. It's a bit out of the way so there are less crowds, but you only have to transfer once to central Tokyo from Ikebukuro, and it is a lot more affordable and we got to do so much more! Beds were super comfy, lots of room and had a lot of amenities available. Staff were really friendly as well and were always willing to help, even providing some advice in English when we needed it. Tokiwadai had a really cozy local vibe and had a lot of good restaurants, convenience...

"Perfect place to stay if you like to spend time in Shinjuku. Convenience store, drug store, place to eat and station to transport, everything you want to do is close to this place. Room was also clean and comfortable to stay. A little bit chill inside because it's December, but we should realize that we need to wear up to warm ourselves in Japan since central heating is not common."

"The location is excellent at just a 3 minute walk from the Yamanote line. The room was clean and as expected. The aircon worked well and keep cool overnight. The bed was comfy. If you're looking for a no frills, place to sleep and shower, and take off for the day, this is the place to stay at."

"Pros:Convenient location to the nearest station. The room/kitchen was very clean. Quiet neighborhood with nearby supermarkets & local restaurants. Con’s: Forgot there’s no elevators. We had 4 heavy suitcases to haul up and down to the 4th floor however, it was a nice corner location . Great for long stays. "

"The property is in a residential area so it is nice and quiet at night. Consequently, you need to be quiet yourself, but it makes for a perfect night time get away after busy days in the city. There are lots of restaurants in the area providing plenty of food options for lunch, dinner, or a late night snack. With heasy access to Hatsudai station, I highly recommended this stay as a home base for your Tokyo excursions. "

At night we heard the fire station a few times but it wasn’t that bad. And only other con is that the address provided is difficult to find for taxi drivers. "マンションを何部屋かホテルとして借り上げたかんじです。地下鉄駅目の前で道路に面しており車の騒音がダイレクト。階段しかなく、喋りながら階段を上がる他の部屋の客の声が室内に丸聞こえでうるさかった。トイレとシャワーは同じ風呂場にあり、仕切りや高低差なし。シャワー浴びる際は濡らさないようトイレットペーパーを外しておかないといけない。風呂場がとにかく臭い。風呂場用スリッパはキッチンのシンク下に入っていた。部屋は臭くない。トイレットペーパーの替えはなし。使い捨て歯ブラシと個包装のコットン&綿棒は机に沢山置いてあった。"
