"FYI: outdoor renovations were underway, so one of the driveways to the entrance was closed, as well as the indoor and outdoor pool. We upgraded to a suite with two bathrooms, an extra room/dining room, walk-in closet, and two balconies. The upgrade granted us access to the executive lounge. The executive lounge was great because they had a happy hour with small dishes, free drinks, and a balcony with view of the bosphorus. The breakfast in the downstairs dining room was a highlight. The food was outstanding and for that reason it got crowded quickly. The staff was helpful and friendly. My wife did a spa massage but that is also under renovation so it was not impressive but the renderings for the new spa look impressive. The location was great, just a 10-15 minute walk to Taksim Square. We have two small kids and they loved it, even though the outdoor pool was closed. A cat park is maybe 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. "

"Most of the staff’s hospitality, especially at the front desk and in the breakfast hall (restaurant), did not match the hotel's elegance and standards. A simple smile would have made a big difference. That said, the lady, Hengame, and the SPA staff were easily approachable and provided excellent service."

"Beautiful hotel. Wonderful room and bathroom. Fabulous views. Great staff. The rooftop bar is incredible but expensive. I wasn’t able to use my Expedia gold members 20% discount that was advertised to me as it was a different company. The breakfast is amazing but unfortunately I didn’t book it when I booked the room. It was a lot more expensive to book breakfast there so we only did for one morning. Again I wasn’t allowed my 20% discount for that either."

"We had a great stay here! The staff was amazing, rooms were very clean, breakfast was good, location is perfect, and bed was comfortable. All the staff, every single one of them, was so kind and helpful from the moment we stepped into the hotel and throughout our entire stay. Atakan was extremely kind and wonderful customer service. My husband loves coffee at all times of the day and would constantly go to the little bar for a cup of coffee and Atakan was always the one making coffee and tea. He never got annoyed and did it with pleasure. Room service was great!!! I was post operation and had to request ice every few hours and the hotel crew was great with bringing me ice. I want to especially thank Muhammet, Yilmaz, and Caner for their hospitality and patience with us. They were so kind. Also, breakfast was great everyday thanks to Pinar for being so attentive. I was in Room 502, I forgot the name of our maid, but she did an amazing job at cleaning our room daily. She is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I have one complaint; WiFi was very slow which affected my pace of work. Hopefully this can be fixed before I come back. Thank you staff of Gleam Collection!! I can’t wait to be back!"
