"We loved our stay here. The apartment is exactly as pictured except the outside could use a coat of paint and there is no hammock which made me sad. Nice welcome basket, door code perfect. Like any beach rental, thongs wear fast, but neat and clean. Beds ok, shower great. View SPECTACULAR. Unfortunately, on a big road and loud!! Settles down before late, but daytime and early evening loud. Great staff at Amigo- super friendly. Cute neighborhood with some great food within walking distance....

"The staff, without exception, were delightful - charming and helpful. Facilities were very good, the pool and beach were lovely but it would have been nice to have a few more Watersport options.Overall the food was very good - especially from the food truck and the pool bar ... but it is a shame that the menu in both main restaurants does not change at all. Also surprising was the fact that the steak menu was an extra charge ... and finally, that a bottle of quite ordinary wine was incredibly expensive"

"We love this place, the staff and location are amazing. Can't find a better beach in Mexico. I do wish they would recover all of the stairs going from the beach to the ocean, very very slippery. We could also do without the membership sales speech, it's pretty heavy used car sales and to be honest we would have bought it but the deal was just better booking online. Abby was great and understanding and in all honesty we have already rebooked to return, maybe they will sweeten the deal when we come back. There were several staff on our trip that made this vacation exceptional and they are more than worth mentioning. JC actually gets in the ocean to bring you drinks, super amazing beach front staff and outstanding service!! Efra very attentive to us at the villa. Kimberly in the buffet was super friendly and always keen to help us learn more espanol. Gabriel and Gerry are great wait staff and very attentive, always remembering our preferences before we could even sit down. Lastly Richie, our concierge was available any time if day to meet 100% of our questions and needs. Can't wait to return in 3.5 months. 100% recommend!"

"Room was clean and well maintained. AC worked adequately (as far as México goes in our experience) Right on north beach, you’re paying for the location, not necessarily the room or amenities. Includes beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. One day it seemed full and the towel guy pulled out 2 more chairs and dug a hole and plopped an umbrella down for us. We did not use the pools, one seemed to be in the sun all day and one was out of the pool. Drinks on the beach from Kalak were average for the island beaches both as far as flavor and cost. Not cheap. Snacks we got were not worth our time or money from the restaurant. Only made that mistake twice. Rest of the time we walked to Hidalgo and ate at a restaurant. Bonus is it’s close to the street food cards in the evenings, tacos, tortas, churros. Our favorites were Tacos Toros, great great tacos. Our favorites were the shrimp and pastor. The 3 guys hamburger cart is sneaky good. I ate there a couple nights and honestly best burger I’ve have in quite a while. All in all a great place to stay and we will definitely consider this place on our next trip to our favorite vacation spot"

"Comfortable bed. Smart TV. Service was outstanding from coffee in the morning at the restaurant and asking for extras from housekeeping. Every employee we encountered was friendly and greeted us with a smile. Check in was quick and we were escorted to the room. Highly recommend the ocean view which was just "WOW". AC worked well and we even had a ceiling fan. LOCATION is THE BEST for the price! I highly recommend this hotel."

"We have stayed at this hotel 3 times already. Rooms are a good value. We decided to try the breakfast this time (early September) but was not open due to it being off season. The location is close to the ferry so no taxi needed. The hotel also secured our luggage until it was time to check in (we had an early arrival) so we were able to start our vacation without wasting time."
