"I'd say this hotel is a 3 star, not a 4. And it's starting to feel very dated and looking tired in the rooms. The Air Con was not functioning correctly in the room I was given, so it made for an uncomfortable sleep on a night after the temp had reached 38 celsius. Parking was overpriced but at least it was safe. The bathrooms felt a bit grubby, and the bedroom didn't make me feel clean either. Just a general sense of dirt and age. "The Parador de Limpias is in a lovely old building with modern ‘wings’ added - we were not too sure if the modern architecture matched the historic original architecture - however, everyone has their own taste in architecture. The Parador is ideally located for the short drive back to the Santander Ferry Terminal. Our room was lovely (but no tea/coffee making equipment) and the staff were charming. "La douche est un bac de 70x70cm avec une ouverture de 35cm. Si vous faites plus de 65kg impossible d’y rentrer et de bouger dedans. De plus aucun feutres sous les pieds de la table et de la chaise et les crissements à chaque déplacement dans cet espace confiné, tard le soir ou tôt le matin réveille tout l’immeuble. Les boîtes à clés sont mal éclairées obligeant à sortir sa torche tout en manipulant le code."
