"Stayed one night in en-suite room at back of property. Some people were disturbed by noise but we were fine, even with window open. For one night and a bar downstairs it was absolutely fine"

"The staff were outstanding…friendly, gracious and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and in good condition. Shower water pressure was the best I’ve experienced in a long time and lots of hot water. Free parking. The views are stunning. Hotel isn’t new and needs some TLC. We had one meal in the restaurant and it was great. Location was perfect for the day trips we took around the area. Would certainly recommend."

"The hotel was very nice. Our room had a view over Loch Leven which was beautiful! We had a very nice dinner in the Water's Edge right in the hotel. Big parking lot was very convenient."

"The stay at the hotel was very nice, in quiet rooms, decorated in a style out of the 80’s, complete with a rotary dialed phone! The property has views onto the bay directly in front of you, which were lovely, and seating for outside viewing as well. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were small but adequate. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the restaurant as well. Dinners were also eaten in the restaurant, and the staff members were super sweet, with the exception of the head hostess/waiter who was pretty rude. Whether she didn’t know etiquette or merely had no idea of proper behavior, we were very displeased with her service. And it appeared as if the waiters and waitresses were afraid of her as well. She was very harsh. The food was lovely though and we sloughed off the distraction by her, but it was not appreciated!"

"Lovely location, room was a bit tired but clean. Immediate grounds needed a bit of attention and was overgrown in parts, but the wider surrounding area is beautiful. Waitress who served us for dinner was really friendly and breakfast was good. Would recommend as a place to stay but it could do with a bit of upgrading."

"Very old hotel and the property and rooms show it. The staff and the restaurant make up for it. Great breakfast. Rolls are on par with a university dorm."

"Situated out front is the most beautiful views with glorious sunsets to be seen. There is a bus stop under 5mins walk to take you into Oban for only £2. The food menu is great. Recommend the muscles absolutely beautiful."
