Oban Bay Hotel

"Hotel is well situated along the promenade in Oban. Far enough from the noise and crowds but a short walk to the center of activities. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast (for a price) was plentiful and delicious. The view from the front lounge was amazing. Two negatives. There is almost no parking on the premises, so you have to find your own. It was a long and twisting walk to our room with multiple level changes via steps. Despite these two negatives we would stay here again."

"Quirky little hotel right in Oban. Staff are wonderful. Carpet etc a little tired and stairs can be a challenge. Some rooms have sloped ceiling in the bathroom which is a little awkward. All in all it was good but priced in a way that we expected more. Parking is at public parking lot a few hundred feet away. Super convenient to walk around Oban. Oban sits below a cliff so any hotels "with a view" will require much climbing."

"Un accueil chaleureux de la gérante Sarah, une chambre propre, tranquille et disposant de toutes les commodités, un petit-déjeuner extraordinaire avec choix variés de céréale et yogourts et fruits de même qu’un choix de laits chauds préparés à la demande. Nous avons également souper au récurant le Porcini, excellent. Un sans faute et nous recommandons absolument cet endroit. Petits plus : tout est à distance de arche de l’hôtel et le stationnement est disponible sur place.."

"Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff is amazing. The property itself is gorgeous. Felt like we were being pampered and cared for the whole time. Had dinner at The Deck and that was wonderful also. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Would love to return and spend more time there."
