"Wonderful place to stay. We had 2 rooms adjoining, with a gorgeous view of the water. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, both in answering questions before we even got there, as well as being on hand while we were staying. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the small personal touches (breakfast snacks, water in the fridge, chocolates on the pillows) were wonderful. They were also helpful with booking breakfast for us at the pub just down the street. Highly recommend; would happily stay there...

"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. "Invercreran Lodge was a perfect overnight experience in the countryside of the highlands! Rural setting away from the crowds and busy roads. Easy drive to Glencoe or Oban. Staff is amazing and facilities are top rate. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, five star getaway with stunning views and superb hosts! "

"Waterfront location was nice but you are isolated from shopping and other restaurants. The clerk at check-in was cold and pressured us to reserve and prepay for dinner and breakfast. Don’t. While the parking is free, it’s unlikely to be available after 6 pm on weekends. If you leave for dinner good luck finding a space later. We had dinner there one night and it was good but expensive for what you get. Our room was nice but not luxury class and cost $280 a night. Unfortunately the...

"Property is beautiful views even better. Three dislikes, one was they closed all common areas by 10pm so you had to go to your room. Second, dinner was served on little end tables in the common room with all guest. Didn't get water or salt and pepper. Not my favorite. Finally, Beds were also very hard. Staff extremely friendly."
