This pristine barrier island offers miles of wide beaches where dolphins often play within view of sunbathers. Rent a kayak to explore the marshlands at sunrise, then grab fresh seafood at local spots where locals gather for sunset views.
Our recent 2 night stay was a delight. Large, family suite catered to our every need. Friendly, attentive staff and nice 'unique' touches made this a great choice for our family break in Charleston. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were some of the best I've ever had in a hotel. I will be sure to recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting the city.

The Loutrel is a very stylish hotel - modern and bright, with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of lovely free snacks, room mini bar with a free cocktail hour each day. We highly recommend and will return if ever back in Charleston.

Fantastic hotel, one of the best family hotels we’ve ever been to. Staff very friendly, rooms and public facilities very clean. The breakfast has a great selection every day and the evening kick back with free drinks are a superb touch. Room was extremely quiet and beds comfortable. Can’t wait to return again.

Fantastic room, we were in the residence for our honeymoon and it felt like a home away from home.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful, from taking us in the jeep to the waterfront, to helping us at 539

Reviews are correct, this place is exceptionally clean and in a very good location and easy to drive into Charleston for a visit. The rooms are super clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower could do with some pressure but it's a great hotel and I highly recommend. Parking was plenty and very secure. Mount Pleasant seems to be a very safe area.

Really pleased with our stay at Staybridge. Had not realised breakfast was included, so that was a bonus! And the breakfast offering was lovely, plenty of it, plenty of choice, well presented....
Staff were all helpful, friendly and efficient, rooms and everywhere spotlessly clean, new towels every day.
Facilities? No evening restaurant, ( but thats why they were suites with kitchenettes), swimming pool was merely a plunge pool and right next to the car park!
Thanks Staybridge for a great...

We loved the pool and pool bar. We also visited the upstairs Lounge for live music. We used the bus from just outside to get into Charleston it’s $2 a ride
The rooms were much better than we expected and there was loads of parking

This was our third stay at The Ansonborough, and this time we were celebrating a special anniversary. The hotel made our trip extra memorable with a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely local treats waiting for us in the room.
We absolutely love the spacious rooms, with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space to properly unpack and settle in. The small kitchenette areas and separate living spaces are a wonderful added bonus, giving you somewhere comfortable to relax after a day exploring Charleston....

Used as an airport hotel after a day of travelling and was pleased with my stay. Nice comfortable bed, straight forward check-in. Limited but decent free breakfast.
