"Despite there not being a modern appeal, the hotel was perfect and very comfortable. Only downside was the price of food at the bar was more expensive than other hotels."

The Inn on the Lake Hotel

"The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. I was lucky to receive a room which overlooked the lake. Although there was no balcony, I was able to open the window & hear the noise of the ducks and water rippling. Good selection of food in the bar & variety of seating with couple of tvs to watch the football. Rooms were a bit dated but the beds were comfortable & there was tea & coffee making facilities. The main reason I stated “dated” was the large wash basin looked like it was from the 70s & shower over the bath (one of my major bug bears. How many people want a bath in a hotel when they are travelling or only staying a night or two). Overall, value for money & taking into account the setting, I would certainly stay again."

"Greeted by lovely and helpful staff on entry. Once in the room we were welcomed by a nice tidy place with a good view of the sea. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and all the other bits that could be needed for our stay were provided. The air conditioning was amazing and made our stay all that more perfect."
