The Botany Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful welcome from the lovely receptionist and nice restaurant service at dinner. Beautiful, comfortable and clean room with great additions like coffee machine, tasty cookies, fan and lovely toiletries. Our only complaint was that breakfast was a bit slapdash with items like bread & orange juice having run out, wrong drinks brought out and a long wait for food."

San Clu Hotel

"All was super, we had a very big sea view room."

Royal Albion Hotel

The Pegwell Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Booked the Pegwell Bay Hotel to stay nearby after a gig in Dreamlands Margate. It was a 20 mins drive away and had ample free parking. Check in was quick and really friendly. The hotel is a classic seaside hotel with impressive architecture and that old school vibe. Some things were a little dated, cracked lampshades and microholes in sheets but it didn't feel dated like most and was charming and clean. Popped down to have some breakfast in the morning and was anticipating a continental affair, instead a good selection of warm food on offer. He had the eggs benny and I scrambled egg and smoked salmon. Was delish and soo quick with the super friendly staff. Bonus point getting to have it on the balcony with sea view on a lovely day. Get a chance to visit the pub across the way but if we had stayed a bit longer would have as it looked lovely. Really well situated for the area if you're driving - including a random viking ship replica 7 mins down the road..."

"Nice hotel and great value food."

Yarrow Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The whole experience was very good. We have been to this hotel a few times and everything is good - the checkin was quick, the room large and comfy, and the breakfast was very good. For some the downside is that the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the centre of broadstairs"

Old Town House by Ezestays
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very attentive to us and it was great to have communication if we needed help! Fantastic location just steps to everything one might want to explore in Margate! It’s our second stay there and we plan to return when we come back to Margate."

Fort Road Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A delightful hotel finished to a very high standard. The building remained unused unil the owener, Thanet Borough Council, auctioned it. A total refurbishment (except for the 2 fireplaces in the bar/restaurant left as an example) has provided a very high standard of rooms and facilities. The staff are very proud of their hotel and this shows throughout. Having paid more the previous night to stay in a poorly maintained hotel from the same era, it was a relief to stay here. Ideally located on the end of 'the strip' retaurants were only less than 10 minutes away. We use the Buoy and Oyster and had a pleasant evening and good food. Parking maybe an issue, but if you drive into and past the Turner Contmporary, through the pay car park, you will eventually reach a section of foreshore road which is available for parking, but popular. The walking siatance up the exit road is about the same as walking back past the Turner. If you fail to find a spot, then you can always park in the pay Turner car aprk, but after the visitors have left, and you are going out, then move your car and save the majority of the fee."
