"Clean room, with very helpful staff and a delicious selection of breakfast options. The air conditioning was a very nice addition, and the rooms appear to have been renovated (specifically the bathrooms) since our last visit a couple of years ago. It's always a pleasant stay and a great location."

"We booked this hotel because of air conditioning, however the ac wasn't strong enough under heat wave, it's a basic hotel, no fridge, close to shopping mall and restaurants but it's quite noisy as it's next to the main road."

"A lovely hotel, beautifully maintained in an amazing location with friendly staff. The only thing that let it down was the quality of the bed and pillow: one hard; the other lumpy. You get a better night's sleep at a Travelodge, to be honest. With a better bed (maybe just a mattress topper?) and a nicer pillow, this would be a five star stay."

"We had a great stay here, it’s excellent value for money. Jim was a fantastic, friendly host. The breakfasts were nice, though we could have done with better vege options. The location is convenient, including proximity to bus routes and trains for exploring the area. Overall we would happily go back!"

"I had a room on the top floor. It was bright, spacious, clean and it had a great view. I was grateful for the AC in my unit because it was so hot in Margate when I was there. The continental breakfast delicious, lots of choice, the coffee was great and it was included. LOVED IT. Great location right beside the Turner Museum and a short walk to Cliftonville."

"Great location. Lovely room. Slight issues with the arrival because of the app but this was handled well/with ease. We struggled a bit with the air conditioning- it was very hot and it wasn’t immediately clear how this worked. Overall though a very good stay."
