"A real oasis in Taranto. The rooms are beautifully decorated and for breakfast you could order eggs or pancakes. The views from the seafront rooms are also lovely and staff very attentive. "To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Once I arrived, everything was great. There were a couple minor issues...

We are an extended family made up of two grandparents, three families, and kids ranging from 10 to 17 years old, and for the past ten years, we’ve chosen Alborea Eco Lodge as our summer holiday destination. Every time it confirms our love for it—and every time, it’s hard to leave.

"We stayed longer than intended because of the options to visit the surrounding areas and their accessibility.
The place is easy to find with GPS. Parking is secure and on site. The host, Francesco and his son Damian are very helpful. The room was large (more like a suite), the bed was very comfortable, the shower ran hot and strong. Even the cleaning lady was a happy, entertaining soul. There are eating options very close and the area appeared safe to us as we roamed at night."
