I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station.
On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch.
Complimentary water was also provided.
If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

This was my first time staying at GLK Hotel in Istanbul, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Salah at the front desk, who went out of his way to make us feel welcomed on our first arrival.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, situated in a quieter part of Istanbul’s Old City. The Blue Mosque is within walking distance, along with many of the other key tourist attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city.

The Hotel is beautifully designed and well planned with every amenity we needed for our stay. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and many other tourist spots. Tram line is also very close by. Staff went the extra mile and were available 24hrs a day to help us with everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely use Fer again.

This hotel is a real find - two minutes walk from the heart of Istanbul's main sites in the old town, easy walking distance of all the bazaars and loads of restaurants and bars. The staff were really helpful, polite and efficient - it is small enough that the service feels genuinely personalised. The decor is good quality, looks recently refitted, and the beds very comfortable.

The staff were all very friendly and amazing - special thanks to doorman Ozgur who helped us when we checked out as our taxi was late and accompanied us for the whole time. I had a great stay at the hotel, very conviently situated as it was near the main sites. The terrace restaurant had fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Extremely well located, close to İstiklal street, Şişane metro station. Lots of eating places close by. Staff very helpful. I had chosen a superior room which was extremely spacious and comfortable.
My only criticism would be that their breakfast was unremarkable. Having got used to other hotels having a widespread breakfast buffet, the breakfast at this hotel was quite sparse.

Great location, excellent service and brilliant restaurants. We stayed for four nights and had dinners in all the restaurants. Food quality (from Turkish to Japanese) is top notch. Hotel staff are always attentive and caring. In a nutshell, it is one of the best hotels we stayed in.

The staff from front desk to the cleaner and then to the breakfast waiters were so attentive and helpful. Breakfast is like a feast! Breakfast is a roof top breakfast in their other hotel which is 2 minutes from our hotel on level 2. Our rooms were cleaned to a...
