"The staff make your experience at the Atrium Platinum Resort & Spa, all were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room, restaurants and communal areas are kept spotlessly clean as are the swimming pools. Although water temperature of the latter was I little cold, even for swimming. For me, I found the music from the pool bar a little intrusive and repetitive, I could even hear it over anything playing in my ear pods. The hotel location was good for us, as it was only a short cab ride to Rhodes old city (€15) and 20 mins from the airport (€60). You can get a bus into town and quite a few route run past the hotel on the coast road, but you’re unlikely to get on them as they are normally full before they get to your stop. Our overall experience of the hotel was excellent, the negative points raised are purely a personal choice that other may have no issues with."

The housekeeping staff cleaned every day and changed the towels, the room was always spotless on return. A fresh bottle of water was left for us every day and having a fridge in the room was an added bonus. Breakfast felt very relaxed, with stunning views out to sea in the restaurant and the choices on offer were all delicious (this is not a self service buffet, you sit down where you like and are served, if you are after a full cooked English breakfast then maybe this isn't the place for you). The staff in the restaurant were all very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool had plenty of sun loungers with decent mattresses, some areas had umbrellas for shade and others for full on daytime sun. You could reserve the loungers if you wanted, but didn't experience any of the usual towel on beds situation like some resorts and it never felt overcrowded, despite a lot of people from other hotels coming in and using it on a daily basis. There was enough space between so you didn't feel on top of each other. The waiters came round regularly providing a full drinks/bar service. The menu for the evening was just as deliciious, it was a small menu but everything was cooked perfectly and couldn't fault the attention to detail. "Lovely stay for a solo birthday trip. Large resort, decent sized pools with plenty of loungers although they get taken quickly each morning. Really attentive pool staff for drinks each day. Spa facility was fantastic and better than expected. Initially given the wrong room and was a bit tired but moved after 1st night. Fairly basic but comfortable and everything needed for the stay with a decent balcony overlooking the pool/coast. Breakfast was plentiful and staff friendly and attentive. Nice options for the buffet dinner as well as the ability to select 3 other bookable restaurants for 3 courses...very nice touch and breaks up eating in the same place each night. Convenient for a short taxi to old town and walkable to local shops. Had a late flight so once checked out i was able to use the facilities and food/drink for the rest of the day and spa facilities to get refreshed before the airport which was a really nice and helpful touch."
