"I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. "Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. "昔の鉄筋木造の建物を今風にリノベーションしたつくり。 とても清潔。 アメニティはタオルのみ。共用シャワーにシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープはあります。 歯ブラシなどは、隣の24時間営業のセブンで調達できます。 部屋は狭いけど、窓が全面海！朝、漁師さんたちが寮に出かけたり、夜釣りをする人たちを眺められます。 朝ごはんは一人900円ぐらいだったかな。朝ごはん料金は、チェックインの時に支払います。コーヒーもパンもおいしかったです！ あのクオリティでこのお値段は、とってもお勧めです。"

"The Hotel location is really convenient. It is next to Gora station where the Hakone ropeway is. Hakone Open Air Museum and Hakone Gora Park are walkable as well. The staff are great, helpful and courteous, I arrived an hour before check in so left my bags and by the time I got back hours later, I just needed to get my keys and my bags are already in my room.
