I booked this hotel through Expedia. From the outside, the property looked brand new—clean, shiny, and very inviting. I’d give the exterior an A+. The lobby and entrance were also really nice, definitely another A+.
However, once we got to the room, things started to feel different. You could tell there had been some remodeling, but it seemed more like a “cover-up” than a true renovation.
Customer service at check-in was polite and helpful, but there was an issue with the booking. Expedia had our room listed as having a balcony, but when we checked in, the staff said they don’t even have balcony rooms. That was disappointing and a frustrating way to start.
Later that night, when we returned to the room, we realized the air conditioning wasn’t cooling properly. The front of the suite had a little cooling, but the bedroom was very uncomfortable. We actually ended up going to the front desk to get a fan.
Overall, while the outside and lobby gave a great first impression, the room quality and AC issues left us unsatisfied. Because of these problems, I probably wouldn’t stay at this location again.
