Excellent location but the main swimming pool needs to be refreshed

Little Switzerland Resort
Such a lovely place to visit. Friendly staff all round, excellent service. The whole resort very neat and clean. Food was good. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay with beautiful views of the Drakensburg mountains. Comes highly recommended.

Family holiday at Little Switzerland
We had a very enjoyable stay in Little Switzerland. The deluxe chalets are highly recommended, as well as the restaurant, and the staff is extremely friendly.

Serene mountain view of Little Switzerland
Little Switzerland gave us a very pleasant stay. The gardens were well kept and clean. Units were excellently clean. My only down snag was my neighbors were playing loud music, drinking alcohol at the pool and shouting loudly and stepping out of their unit naked. Enjoyed the hikes and watching the baboons.

The front door has a semi frosted glass that can see through, without a curtain. For a elderly couple in the 70’s having a split level accommodation with the toilet on the entrance landing was very uncomfortable

The rooms were great. The service was great. The activities and hikes were amazing. Only thing that could have been better was outside by the braai the lighting is bad to braai at night and also the roads at night were dark inside but other than that 10/10

Never go there!
Poor service and rude staff. All over poor service. Will encourage everyone I see not to stay there. In particular one staff member, Glen at reception.

It was wonderful. Walk on the mountain path. Go-cart was fun in the mud! Food was delicious. Friendly service al around the resort. Thank you for a great get away. Will definitely visit again!

Dated room, pleasant surroundings
The room we stayed was very dated but they seemed to be upgrading other parts of the resort. It was clean though and the bed was very large and comfortable. The lounge chairs were very uncomfortable, wicker single chairs. The food at the restaurant wasn't great. The lamb curry was just a plate of bones with no flavour at all and when we mentioned it to the waiter he said "its a pleasure" instead of offering us some remedial option. The reception and check-in was efficient and smooth.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your valued feedback and for your comments. I will most certainly raise these issues with the food and Beverage manager. We are in the process of upgrading the resort and sadly the lockdown has had a huge effect on the completion and continuation thereof. We will be completing 6 more rooms and three chalets this year and the rest unfortunately will only be done next year. I trust the rest of your stay was pleasant.

For the love of god, do not go there
I got severe food poisoning from the restaurant and was simply unable to be further the 5 meters away from a toilet. As I was travelling alone and this place is miles from anywhere I simply could not leave the place. The main staff members were fine, however the management threatened to throw me out by force unless I paid full rate for another night (despite it was clear that ibwas very ill indeed) . Anyone who works in hospitality with a an attitude like that does NOT deserve to keep their job, it was despicable behavior and they should happy that i am.not suing them! The place itself I doubt has been updated since 70's And room facilities was very poor indeed...and done and so was the menu (don't eat there).

Little Switzerland Resort in the Drakensberg
We had an excellent time visiting this beautiful hotel amidst the amazing Drakensberg mountains. Serene and surreal with the sun changing the scenery as the day pass. Friendly 4 star hotel service
