Suryagarh was the first stop in our week long Rajasthan trip. We were blown away by its beauty!
It was the small things that really stole the show, we’ll placed sit outs that encourage you to spend time outside of your room, the attentive but non intrusive staff, the numerous animals/ birds in the property - peacocks, white pigeons, house dogs (supposedly twins), donkeys, ducks!
We had a relaxed evening, enjoying their complimentary folk show (singing & dancing) followed by a very romantic dinner at their Rajasthani restaurant - Legends of Marwar.
Our room opened up to their tulsi aangan, where we could easily spend many hours looking up at the night sky.
Breakfast in the courtyard with a lot of the birds & animals mentioned was very pleasant. This was accompanied by a local artisan playing the flute from a first floor window.
Overall, very romantic and would definitely recommend to others looking for an experience similar to ours.
Special kudos to Divya Tripathi, Gaurav from front office & Latif Khan from the restaurant for making our stay special.
