The lobby and staff were amazing at Grand Dafam. Every morning Leila was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of. Our first room had mold in it but after addressing our concerns with hotel manager Joco, we were upgraded to an executive suite. Joco provided great customer service. Overall the staff and breakfast made our stay at this hotel wonderful.

Not so good.
Probably just renovating or not. But the hotel was not like how described. We found a bowl of noodles in the fridge from a previous customer. The pool was dark and dirty looking. The road near by was noisy day and night.

Would love to come back !
I booked a superior non-smoking room for just one night but they said none is available at that moment. But the receptionist then kindly free upgraded our room to deluxe one. Thank you ! Nice and cozy room. But the lift is a little bit creepy it made a sound like it needs a better maintenance or something while going up from 5-10 floor.

The location is good . The maintenance side of the room needs to be looked at. The hand basin taps are about to fall of. A bit more fresh air flow would be good.

Food was fantastic very good choices, great buffet cant go any further. What l didn't like was not enough staffing on Sundays, Buffet food ran out, plates in several section ran out. . I had to clear my own table to sit , Restaurant Manager could hardly be seen. These issues could easily be fied but l had no problems regarding this ,the Management should take as a positive feedback and not negative.

Unclean and poorly maintained property
The room is not even close to what we see in the pictures. Its super dirty, the aircon dosent work, its stuffy. Very unclean, with insects all over and washroom has cockroaches. Even after changing 4 rooms there is no difference.

Stubborn Staff at the Concierge!
It was a terrible experience at the concierge. We made a booking for 2 BR apartment, the staff at the front insists that it was only 1BR even after showing after printed confirmation details. We had to argue for 30mins before they acknowledged it was their mistake in the system.

Very disappointing
Really disappointing stay at Hotel Aston Marina. Day 1: Once inside the lobby there was a very sharp smell of cigarette in the reception area. There is a smoking location but the smell is spread throughout the lobby. Not healthy for family which bring kids. The room that we ordered using a Queen Size bed and not available, unique, but we have booked since April 2017. Day 2: We were transferred to another room and it was adjacent to the highway so that the sound of the trailer came to our room. The impermeable system did not go well. Day 3: We were moved to 22nd floor and very dirty condition. The floor of the room felt sticky. We were disappointed to stay at the Aston Marina. Unresponsive staff, management (Manager On Duty) contacted very difficult. A holiday that ended in disappointment.

Nice hotel
We stayed 1 night, reserved for non smoking room but was given smoking room. The room was newly renovated so it was very nice and clean. however, it seems that the bathroom was not included in the renovation. We were allowed entrance to the restaurant for breakfast, but no table were available. There should be some sort of table management during breakfast, but it was great selections on the buffet and plenty of food. Staff was friendly. However, during check out we asked whether parking ticket is needed to get free parking and the fo said yes, my wife ran to the car to get the ticket but it turns out we were given a voucher and it was not necessary to get the ticket. Just need to pay attention to what the customer is saying. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel.

I was happy with the location, but a little a bit confused with the entrance of the Hotel. The lift kept jamming and my room card is not working. Uber always confuses how to pick us up and the surrounding always packed and heavy traffic. The room is lack of maintenance, but the buffet is delicious and very high variety. Although, the price of the buffet is sky rocket.

Old & dirty - Not worth the $$
Not near any attractions or decent food and shopping areas. The lift was EXTREMELY slow as there was only 2 and it services almost 40 floors with many units on each level. The rooms were dirty and my skin had rashes all over after seating on the chairs and sofa. Breakfast choices were varied by quality was bad. I liked the smoothies and eggs cause they were the only thing that felt fresh. My friend saw a cockroach on top of the coffee machine and wondered if it crawled into the beans =S You've to walk out in the sun (or rain) to get a cab due to the location.

Very surprised!
Having stayed in Aston Pluit, my expectations were not high! However, I was greeted with a smile, and check in was very swift, and professional. I had requested a bath, as after a 15 hour flight, I needed a long soak, and reconfirmed while at the desk. I was given a free upgrade, which I was never offered at Aston Pluit! When I got to my room, no bath! A quick call to Reception, and they very quickly moved me. On moving, I found that although the room was made up, and clean, the mini bar was virtually empty. Another call to Reception, and they noted it! The room was very spacious, and clean, but smelled a little musty? Again, not a problem. The bath was superb, and the water, super hot! Deciding to order room service, I couldn't be find a menu. On the 'hotline' to Reception, and they sent one straight up! The layout of the room is a little odd! There is a sofa, and table and chairs, but you had to go to the bedroom, to watch TV! Breakfast buffet was very varied, with Western, Asian and also Arabic foods. The food was hot, and plentiful. (Aston Pluit, take note) All in all, it was worth the money!

Had to wait over two hours for a room then was told the room was still not ready, finally screamed at desk staff who upgraded my room what a joke had to wait one hour for a salad in their café oh and here's the kicker no one else was in the cafe
