"Loved the view and the pool! Room was very nice! Would have liked more restaurant choices, the fish house was not that good! Staff at main desk during check in were not that welcoming!"

The rooms are beautiful, the service is consistently exceptional, and the location simply can't be beat. Once we arrive, we never need to get back in the car until it's time to head home. Everything we love about downtown Charleston—restaurants, shopping, and historic attractions—is just a short walk away. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. We already can't wait for our next anniversary stay!"

"Some lint came out of the overhead vent onto our bedspread right after we checked in. After letting them know they immediately sent housekeeping to change all the linens. This is the second time we have stayed at the Vendue. Very convenient to lots of places within walking distance, including the Market. Will come again."

"Parking was easy and both of the valet that assisted us were very friendly and efficient. The wine and snacks in the afternoon were very relaxing, with a lovely view and very friendly ladies serving. Breakfast was ok each day, but we would have liked a meat option in addition to the quiches and frittatas. The room was very clean and comfortable and quite spacious, but provided very little natural light due to a small window and building directly next door. The location was fabulous for dining and touring."
