"We loved our overnight stay in the deluxe studio (no 5). We arrived to a spotlessly clean, well equipped apartment with lots of little touches to make our stay comfortable. The location is great - away from the town, but very quick to get to downtown. The historic Jefferson Monticello house and other historic sights were nearby but as we were short for time we made a priority of walking down the downtown mall in the evening and visiting the UVA especially the rotunda and the university chapel in...

"Couldn't check in first night due to system failure and had to find a different hotel. Checking out on the second night experienced a power failure (no backup generator apparently) and had to leave to leave in the dark. Just requested a receipt as I never received one and my name was listed correctly at a completely different address and state and at different rate then I prepaid. I am now going through the hassle of getting things corrected."

"The room was great, bed was great and the staff was kind. The shower, while clean and had great water pressure, the fixtures were not attacked very well, and be sit even had a glaring whole whine the fixture. Otherwise it was a good stay"

"The Virginia Guesthouse is a new hotel and conference center, right next to the University of Virginia. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Including providing a late checkout at 12 instead of 11, and holding our bags in their luggage check while we were still in town for the afternoon after checkout. The rooms are nicely designed and being brand new are perfectly clean. Throughout the hotel, there are lots of spaces designed in, such as gathering areas and libraries. The hotel is well...

"We have stayed at this Residence Inn numerous time and the rooms are always clean and staff wonderful. It's a great location with great restaurants and small breweries nearby."

"Elevator didnt work, No coffee maker, No hair dryer, No conditioner, just shampoo and soap. Has many surfaces in hallway taped off and patched up for painting, Strange smell in hallways, Carpet in hallways need vacuuming, Floors in room seems a little grimey. Breakfast was basically coffee I was not able to drink, breakfast bars and packs of instant oatmeal and grits, so I went to get coffee elsewhere. Comfortable and clean otherwise."

"The staff were accommodating. The breakfast was horrible. The eggs were placed out with lots of water in the serving dish the oatmeal was lumpy, the sausage looked and taste under cooked. The fridge in the room cuts off, leaving items placed very warm. Didn't have trash bags in wastebaskets. someone came in my room while I was out a stole little personal items, eye drops and travel body care products, I could tell that someone had went through my bags and clothing left on the bed."

"Hotel manager was very communicative and helpful. Excellent breakfast included with room and convenient free garage parking. A lovely historic property with significant ties to the community and an easy walk to UVA Rotunda."

"Unique and fun property with a 1960's design - both exterior and interior. It even included a 1960's pink princess telephone. But the motel had the comforts of 2026 with a jumbo size TV, comfortable bed and pillows and large bathroom. Each room had a record player with records. I was excited to spin some 33's but both the record player in my room and a second I secured from the lobby were broken. The staff said they were not familiar with how they worked and could not offer any assistance....
