"Surprisingly it was GREAT !!! Very friendly people thru out. A good personality OWNER. Watches things himself to make sure customers are well taken care of. Property is clean. Good garden to enjoy a scenic view in the sun. May be a little far from the city center, but an excellent place for vacations in Skardu and around. Food is unbelievable. All things tasted like any 3-4 star hotels in big cities. Service is top notch too. All thumbs up !! "

"High end, recently opened resort in a very quiet spot on the K2 river, close to Shigar Valley. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness, food, views and room quality, but being in what felt like a large, city hotel in the middle of the mountains was slightly odd. Overall, a solid choice."

"The room had no heating and it took a long time for the hot water to flow. I washed in the cold with cold water because I did not want to waste the cold water: we were told to let the cold water flow through the pipes. The hotel staff were however absolutely brilliant. They gave us extra quilts and blankets and warmed our hot water bottles daily with a smile. The breakfast was very nice. The electricity situation was also poor as was the WiFi net connectivity. "If you are looking for a quit resort away from any hustle and bustle this is perfect. About hour and half away from the airport. No resorts, hotels or restaurants close by you have to travel about 30 minutes. But this resort is right on the river and a beautiful view of Snow peak mountains. Access to little beach. They’re still in process of upgrading their facility. I wish they had a gym but overall, if it’s very friendly, nice day."
