"The room was NOT clean, sheets were dirty, as well as sheets. Heater didn't work, flies in the room, I paided for a studio king bed, when I arrived I was informed room was not available any longer. I was provided a two twin bed. I asked for a refund, which I was decline, I have to contacted Expedia the same way I booked and paided. In addition, no one available at front desk. you had to call a number and then someone will come at front. Very very disappointed"

"Booked and paid through Expedia. When checked in obviously had to put down security deposit. When checking out I noticed two pending charges from the hotel and just left it alone assuming they both would fall off. One did not come off. Contacted hotel to resolve and got no resolution so has to file dispute with bank. Other than that it was fine."

"There really wasn't much to like about this hotel. It is quite literally a Motel. Which can be cool. However, the room was very dirty bugs new and old all over the room, dust webs, dirty floor, and bathroom. The door and locks were not easy to work and needed replaced. There is also limited parking. In totality the Palms is in a place where they can charge $200 for a room that should be $75 due to the area and season. The owners must know this because the rooms reflect it. Will not go back!"

"Very tight parking, no one at the office, no ice, and the pool was down the street at another hotel.It did have a nice ocean view and located in a great spot."

"Pros: Clean and large room/ easy to adjust thermostat/ clean and safe elevator/ breakfast was decent/ quiet at night even with a pre-teen girl party down the hall/ bathroom was well-equipped with toiletries and hairdryer/ location is great for visiting local wineries Cons: TV did not work at first and clerk couldn't help- I had to trouble-shoot it myself, which required climbing up behind it and unplugging and plugging various components/ There was only one evening desk clerk for a full hotel"
