"NOPSI Hotel is my go-to accommodation when in New Orleans. From the moment you step up to the front door, all staff are pleasant, courteous, and attentive. The property is clean and well-maintained. I stayed in a Deluxe King Bed room facing the main street front of the hotel. The room was spacious and immaculately cleaned. The area was quiet even though this was during Essence Fest, which I was not there to attend; I got an undisturbed night's sleep every night. The rooftop bar offers great views and seating comforts, highlighting the pool, or, in proximity, you take in the evening cityscape with a soothing melodic music track playing underneath your experience instead of overpowering it. I make it a point to work out during my trips, and the spacious hotel gym has everything one could require to get a good post-night party workout. Relaxing around the hotel lobby offers a nice experience, both at the mini bar in the lobby enjoying the piano man (not Billy Joel) play live, or at the hotel restaurant. I will say, however, the food experience at the restaurant bar was not the greatest. The drinks were excellent; the small plate and appetizer selections we had were...less than exciting. Overall, I will stay at the NOPSI Hotel again when I return to N.O. When our people treat me well, providing great service with a smile, that wins me over every time."
