This hotel presents itself as an enjoyable experience with a historical approach, but my stay was deeply disappointing and nowhere near the standard it advertises. Beyond the physical issues and overall quality, what stood out most was the complete lack of hospitality, professionalism, and concern for guests.
Whenever concerns were brought up, the staff showed little interest in resolving them or even acknowledging them properly. There was no warmth, accountability, or sense of care — something that should be the bare minimum, especially for a hotel charging premium prices and targeting tourists.
I’m writing this review because I genuinely do not want other travelers to fall into the same tourist trap I did. Luxury is not just a marketing word or aesthetic photos online; it is reflected in service, attention to detail, and how guests are treated when problems arise. Unfortunately, this hotel failed in all of those areas.
I strongly recommend future travelers research carefully before booking here, because the reality of the experience was completely different from what was promised. This place is nothing like the photos, see other reviews in other platforms so you can get more insight before deciding staying here. Basically they close the door and you have to knock to get in, they only hand you 1 room hey so if there's more people with you you have to leave the key. Security was very concerning, lack of maintenance and asbestos residue throughout the walls.
