"I’m just completed a cross country trip and stayed at dozens of hotels over the past month. This is definitely better than most, and I appreciate that it was run and staffed at the front desk by Americans. I have stayed here before and prefer the rooms in the inner courtyard. This time I had a room toward the back. It was very clean and spacious, the bed was perfect. I have absolutely no complaints. I felt safe in the parking lot and corridors. You can see that this hotel is well managed, and by people who strive to do a competent job. I appreciate that. However, there are some things that can’t be controlled. The walls are indeed paper, thin, and you can hear everything from your neighboring rooms. This was really disconcerting. But there’s really nothing they can do to remedy that. It is what it is. One thing they could control is that the breakfast food was absolutely cold. I took it back to my room and heated it up in the microwave, but shouldn’t have had to do that. The sausage patties and potatoes were completely cold, like they had just come out of the refrigerator. The coffee was fine and the breakfast area was very clean. My main complaint is the check-in process. I already checked in online, including signing for the room, paying & license plate #. But I had to do it again and it took a ridiculous 25 minutes which is very frustrating after driving 650 miles. They also will lose business by charging an early check-in fee. I suggest the manager change that."
