The staff was kind and helpful from the moment we checked in. The food, much of which is sourced from their own farm, was delightful. The grounds are immaculate! "Welcome was good, friendly and informative. Room was pleasant, clean and well situated with à separate entrance to Restaurant. Meals taken were good with excellent selection for breakfast. We were aware of entertainment in the Bar, which was excellent both nights. Note: entertainment is not availble in their Bar every night but there is entertainment somewhere in Rostrevor each night."

"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."
