"Breakfasts were free but not great. Staff was fine. Construction 40 feet outside of our window. Not great for relaxation. The 4am fire alarm that evacuated the entire hotel ruined the following day because we were so exhausted. It did not help that the security guard was laughing about everyone standing in the cold."

"My stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Secaucus Meadowlands was overall just okay. The hotel is older and definitely in need of updates. The rugs felt old and musty, and the room cleanliness could be improved—there were crumbs under the comforter everywhere, but the towels were clean thank goodness. The toilet flushed well, but the water pressure in the shower was low. The key cards also didn’t work several times, which was frustrating. I also didn’t feel completely safe with the door lock, which is something the hotel should really address. Amenities were limited—there was no pool or gym available, possibly due to repairs. Breakfast was very basic (bagged, similar to a school-style meal), though the coffee was good—which mattered for my mornings. That said, the staff really stood out. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and did their best to accommodate guests, which I appreciated. The location is also convenient, especially with the drop-off and pick-up for Port Authority right at the hotel—that was a big plus and close to the movies, other stores, Olive Garden and the American Dream Mall. For the price and for a short stay, it was manageable, but I wouldn’t stay more than a couple of nights. It’s not quite what I would expect in 2026, but it works if you just need a quick place to sleep."

"Overall, the facility was nice, but there were several disappointed things. 1. entering parking lot is terrible because the parking lot entrance is closed all the time and behind the main hotel gate."

"Just be mindful, I had hair on my bedsheets and towels. The mugs were not clean and there were a few ants coming from the shower. The breakfast was poor, honestly Secacus has better food option to offer in and around the area. Overall on the plus side the room was nice. Tv channels were also good. "
