“The Long Exposure Selfie” This is the view of New York City’s downtown financial district as seen from Jersey City, New Jersey. The Freedom Tower stands mightily over the Hudson River where US Airways Flight 1549 had to make an emergency landing after losing both engines to bird strikes. It has popularly come to be known as “The Miracle On The Hudson”. This sight is less than half a mile from the Exchange Place Path train station. One can also reach this place via the New York Water Taxi Service. This place is truly a sight to behold and should be on everyone’s itinerary when visiting The Big Apple!

The room was a little warm and hard to get the temperature down even with the heat off. Window opens but then a little loud (sirens) throughout the night. Only complaint. Staff were all amazing and helpful rooms were nice and update and clean! Would stay here again.

Facility fee even though there is no fridge available in the room so we cant store any food. Millenium next door the Premier staff is much better and helpful. (Hector!) They refunded out of courtesy. I spend 100 nights a year in NYC and always try to stay at the New Yorker if it's available and reasonably-priced. I would stay there every one of those 100 nights if I could. It's clean, convenient, provides great service and just reliable.
