"Very good location and friendly staff. The breakfast was not great - we looked at it and chose not to partake. The coffee appeared to be instant and was not good. The shower had a white plastic head and barely let any water out. The property was aged. Lastly, it did have a gym but was not usable as it was full of boxes. It was fine for one night, wouldn’t stay again."

"The Ankeny Diner delayed breakfast opening until 9am because of Father's day brunch. There were no signs or notices, and according to another guest the front desk clerk didn't even know about it, nobody at the hotel was made aware of "no breakfast" ahead of time."

"We stayed with 2 adults 4 kids and the size was perfect. Great amenities, everything within walking distance and few miles from our baseball complex"

"The room was huge. So much space to move around. Thank goodness for the toiletries bc we were only staying for 1 night & pack very light. The breakfast was ready before the set time, so whomever is leaving before 6am on the weekend will surely get a bite in before heading out."

"Everything was clean, the staff were all kind, very helpfull and knowledgeable about the property. The pool is big and 5ft deep and q end. They have a wonderful jacuzzi in the pool room as well as a beautiful sauna and work out room. I wish I could have extended my stay but I had to go the next night. The room I got had a whoorle pool jacuzzi in the room and it was soooo relaxing. Great laundry facilities and multiple vending machines around the property. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. All...

"The traffic near the hotel was crazy, as usual road construction, weaving thru a restaurant parking lot to get the hotel was weird; literally took 12 minutes before someone greeted us (another traveler and myself) and check us in, it was 4:16 PM, so nobody near from the front desk. The Machine Shed restaurant within walking distance, was great food, and incredible staff."

"Pool was closed for a couple of hours and elevator broke when we were there. They were able to get the elevator fixed fairly quickly. Great location for what we needed and room was clean."
