"Room was comfortable but that’s the only positive. Arrived for self check-in within the stipulated time, and the room was not cleaned since the last guests. Customer service is difficult to reach and might be a bot (?). Said to leave immediately because the room was double booked. When I said no, they said that actually they’re just confused with another reservation and they will send a cleaner. Had to wait awhile. Overall very stressful and terrible lack of service - I can’t properly explain...

"During my first few days in the Azores, I stayed in 4-star hotels before switching to this guest house—and honestly, this place was way better. It was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even packed me a breakfast to-go since I had an early flight before the kitchen opened. Such a nice touch! If I ever come back, I’m definitely staying here the whole time."

"Paulo was an incredible host, suggesting ideas for activities, hikes and restaurants.
The bed was confortable and the room had everything you need. If you want to go to bed early or stay in bed late, don’t forget to bring your earplugs if you are in the main building because you can hear people at breakfast.
The continental breakfast was complete with eggs, fruits, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, cake, coffee and tea. There are even passionfruits from the garden sometimes!

"Ik kreeg bij het inchecken een upgrade naar een appartement met zeezicht wat ik zeer op prijs stelde. Appartement was ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Enig nadeel was wel dat het een beetje gehorig was; ik heb 1 nacht mijn buurman horen snurken. Hotel is gunstig gelegen aan de kust vlakbij het centrum en een supermarkt 1 deur verder. Bij ontbijt veel a la carte keuzes."
