"The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast."

"Une expérience parfaite de A à Z au sein de l’établissement Lusitano. Un accueil très chaleureux, avec une mention toute particulière pour Romeu T. pour son incroyable gentillesse et ses conseils. "Stayed in Villa 3 with a few of the ocean . The access to the fruits and vegetables in the garden made our meals even better. So fresh . The bed was very comfortable. The manager was very attentive if we had any questions. The information document on what to do and where to eat made choosing our activities much easier . Thank you . Recommend 100%"

"Fantastic staff!! Absolutely the best! Super helpful and friendly - and further bolstered by Mr Host, the house cat.!. He’s very handsome and friendly! We arrived late and the receptionist stayed 30 min late to help us find the hotel and also the parking garage. The location is great - everywhere in the city is walkable. The room was quiet, clean and large! We had a fantastic 3-night stay. "

"Weitläufige Anlage mit extra viel Charme und wirklich außergewöhnlichem Ambiente, die Bilder im Web werden übertroffen, sehr freundliches Personal, allerdings keine Rezeption - dafür sehr schnellen Kontakt und Austausch via whatsapp. 15min vom Flughafen und Hauptstadt aber im Grünen und ruhig. Zentral gelegen für Ausflugsziele. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Würde sofort wieder dahin gehen!"

They provided a travel cot, a high chair as well as a baby bath, which was lovely. "Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche im Bathalha Resort verbracht. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da wir spät Abends angekommen sind wurde der Schlüssel im Safe hinterlegt. Das Frühstück wurde täglich in unser Haus gebracht und war sehr köstlich. Wir konnten zwischen einem Standard und einem großen Frühstück wählen. "I cannot wait to come back. I will stay here over and over again. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Super easy to get in main Ponta Degada. Though on the main road, it was super quiet at night. I loved hearing the church bells, the ocean, and birds! The view was spot on. I love the Azores!"

"Property was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was done exceptionally well with fresh pastries, eggs etc. Beautiful ocean views above a small pasture. The unit had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Highly recommend! "

"The vila was perfect. Well equipped, clean and spacious. It is located 10 minutes from the port and close to the highway. The island is easily accessible from the vila. The staff (manager and housekeeper) were more than helpful. If we go back to Punts Delgada we will return to the Vilas dos Olivas without a doubt! "
