It was safe quiet serene. We came for medical treatment, and Uber was easily accessible from there dining places were near by. Only problem we had is that the cleaners didn't come everyday. Apart from that it was good. One suggestion I would give is to have showers in both bathrooms in case someone is there for medical treatment it makes it easier.

We have mixed feelings about our stay at The Median. We LOVED the location and security, and how friendly everyone was at the front desk. The unit was the right size for a family of 4, for a week's stay. The unit had everything we needed to feel at home and house keeping came every other day. The unit was clean, but smelled AWFUL! We contacted Clive on our second day there only because we arrived so late the first night, to see if we could move units. He said that someone was going to come and see about the smell and moving us but this never happened. So we purchased air freshers and this only made it worst. There was a mixture of sweetness and old funk in the air every time we walked into the unit. We also saw a few German roaches in the unit and wasn't happy. Communication with Clive was good for the most part. He did reply with 24 hours of our request, including when we asked if we could store our luggage in his storage on our last day there because we had to check out by 10am and our flight wasn't until 11pm. He offered to store it up until 4pm, which was nice of him, but we needed more time. Luckily another hotel in the area was kind enough to store our luggage for us until we left for the airport. Overall, we would like to recommend this rental, BUT only if there can be a guarantee that it doesn't smell and pest control can be addressed.

Second stay .

Second time staying here - exactly the same layout but different floor. Clean, functional, convenient. Security staff at the building are very friendly. Staff for the accommodation are mostly responsive. Good water pressure in the shower. Shower door gets stuck closed. Bed is comfy. Somewhat airless but a fan is provided and door to balcony helps. Couch probably needs attending to. Totally handy to Rosebank and very secure area.would recommend and would stay again

The unit was well furnished and modern, the built-in stuff were great, but the pots, pans and fan wasn't so great. It was fully usable but it had broken handles etc. The management was also very strict, we asked for an additional set of keys and they were initially reluctant to provide one and after that quoted us first R1000, then R500 deposit. It just felt like it was overly strict, rigid and lacking a bit of that human touch which Jo'burg is famous for. Overall still a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Excellent

As the name suggests this place was an “easy stay”. Communication about the place beforehand, directions to get there were all provided and clear. All the staff connected with this property were friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was perfect for location and cleanliness. A bit airless - but the provided fan helped a lot. Very quiet, considering its location this was a pleasant surprise. The couch in the lounge has legs that are sloping inwards suggesting it is not very strong - it’s also got a couple of stains on the fabric. The shower has good pressure and lots of hot water. The bed was a tad soft for my liking but otherwise comfortable. Easy walking distance to a load of restaurants, assorted shopping, car hire, gautrain, and hop on hop off tour bus. Would recommend and will return.

The best option quality and value in Rosebank

Having just completed my 7th stay in the last 3 months at The Median with EasyStay I cannot endorse this property enough. The location is excellent for both Gautrain, restaurants, entertainment and shopping. Ubers are always available. It’s a lively area so you will always have some boisterous background noise at weekends. I’ve stayed in Basic, Classic and 2BR units. All have been to very high standard and serviced every 2nd day. The management team of Clive & Norma are superb and always very helpful. They are never more than a WhatsApp away or can be at the property within 10 mins as they manage 3 local buildings.
