Me and the wife had opportunity to stay at this property. Because our flight was delayed, it caused us to arrive one day later. Even though this hotel wasn’t fully booked they still charged us for the day. We weren’t even there which we felt to be very unprofessional because of the situation. The best part of us stay in this hotel was the staff which were very welcoming. Standing out was one of the guards men named William and another gentleman who was a concierge named Leon. unfortunately, construction was going on at this hotel when we arrived therefore, there was several mornings where we were unable to sleep because of the noise. We did notify staff and the noise did calm down a little, however, because this hotel was not full we thought perhaps they would move us to a less noisy area,. There was a time when we came out of the room and the truck was blocking us from even getting to our car. no total shade on this facility because overall it was clean. However, accommodations could have been a little better. Because the hotel is not cheap we thought perhaps they would have a microwave in the room for when you got hungry and wanted to heat something up. However, they did offer room service to warm the food up for you however that was an inconvenience to us and we didn’t want to feel obligated to tip every time we did anything. Not a bad hotel however for the money paid, our stay could have been more pleasant.

The property is a boutique hotel very welcoming friendly staff. The design is modern the sculptures are beautiful throughout the property. The food phenomenal. The spa service is amazing the therapist are very knowledgeable in their craft. I would recommend this property and I would definitely stay here again.

Generally the property was nice, but could do with property maintenance and upgrades to keep up appearances( i.e. shower tiles were missing , bathroom tiles were worn, etc..) Other than that the staff were friendly and somewhat accommodating when my room was flooded (weather related )and I needed to change rooms.

Overal stay was good however the carpets in the rooms were musty and not clean getting drinking water in the room was a chore if it ran out in the room however when the atm at the hotel did not dispense money but debited my account the staff were not helpful and up to now 5 days later no resolution as to whether it was a system challenge or card fraud. The house kerping staff and porters were a joy and super helpful

An excellent hotel for business or leisure.

I travel a lot on business and I often stay in ‘Business’ style hotels which are all very similar. It was very refreshing to stay in the Seven Villa Hotel as it is a bit different. Rooms - have been nicely furnished and are laid out differently. Bathrooms are well- equipped. Breakfast is a delight and has a nice range of foods, fruits, juices and traditional breakfast food on offer. A very lovely touch is eggs freshly cooked to order. There are a few local shops within walkable and safe distance - supermarket, food outlets, pharmacy etc. What is nicest about the hotel is the very friendly and helpful staff who are allays available to help in anyway. I would certainly be happy to stay in this hotel the next time I am in the area. Highly recommended.

The hotel does not look like a hotel; it feels more like a condominium of houses. In our room, there was no telephone to contact the reception. There was noise from the room below, as they were using the jacuzzi all night, and their conversation could be heard in our room. I found the cost-benefit ratio not worth it, as we even had to pay for the water in the minibar, which the hotel does not provide. Meanwhile, we stayed one night at the Pride Marriott Melrose, which was definitely better.

Pleasant stay

A really great stay

I was welcomed very professionally and explained about the different amenities that were available. I had a treatment at the Camelot spar on the premises which was awesome. Dinner at Ruebens restaurant was a real treat and the food was delicious.

Convenient location, spacious room, great value.

Friendly welcome, very generous and spacious room. Lighting could be better as the room is meant for business stay. Interior decor is an interesting mix of traditional and modern elements. Balcony had a lovely view overlooking the garden. Breakfast service was a tad slow and the selection was a little limited, however the the food quality was excellent and the food served delicious. Consistent, high speed wifi between room, breakfast area as well as conferencing areas.

nice spacious apartment

good place to stay, few shops in walking distance, Sandton City and Mandela square just around the corner . Breakfast okay but expensive for what you get, and every day the same.
