"Noticed a big change from our last stay here - starting to look pretty beat up. Strong smells in the hallways and the room had a strong scent of deodorizer or something you’d use to cover up a smell - was very overpowering and made me very stuffed up when we were in the room. Did not exactly feel very safe this time around - some characters lurking around the parking lot and close to the entrance. Staff were great, breakfast was great. Would likely stay again."

"Vahid and No. 5 east are just a sheer delight! The house is lovely, breakfast was great, and Vahid is so welcoming and cheerful. Only minor complaint is that, in the winter, if you aren't in a car, the nearest restaurants and shops are a bit of a walk, especially if it's winter."

"Fire Alarm went off continuously afternoon and late at night. Staff did not provide any assistance until we asked. When we requested they accommodate the issue front desk they pushed back as if this was a normal part of a hotel stay. Terrible stay. Hope they step up their maintenance. "

"airport shuttle never came, no one answered the phone at hotel. we had to walk in -40 temperatures to the hotel. hotel room was not very clean, leftover food in fridge when we arrived. micro wave had cooked food on turn play and door window"

"Our overall stay was good. There is ample parking. We stayed on the 15th floor and the carpets were fairly dirty (crumbs or food noted) outside the rooms, but inside was fine. Due to it being downtown there are lots of emergency vehicles driving by with sirens frequently (4 times on one night, but that’s just how it is downtown in big cities). "Everything was fine, except that my room was next to what appears to be a mechanical room where there was a constant low-level humming noise, very irritating. Also, in the middle of the night, there was a sudden large noise when certain machine roared into operation. The hotel should not assign rooms next to the mechanical/utilities building to customers."

"Very limited parking. Had to use a lot about a block away. Also coffee machines in room are not good. If you want a morning coffee you’re told use machine or go to nearby coffee shop. That shop coffee is awful. So if you want to relax in the morning with a coffee this isn’t the place to stay. Otherwise nice location"
