"There was nothing I didn't like while staying at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Smithfield Selma. This was my second stay at this location and I plan on repeatedly staying there on all my future trips to the area. The staff were so cordial and friendly, and they even remembered that I had stayed there before. Again, there is nothing that I didn't like about my stay there."

"Clean and spacious room. Hotel is very nice. Breakfast is not so good. Dried meats, very watery oatmeal, cold French toast, waffle mix tasted nasty. Breakfast gets 1 star because coffee was semi drinkable otherwise it would’ve been a 0"

"It was just an overnight for a long road trip, but the hotel was extremely clean with a friendly staff. My only criticism is that the bedding had a weird smell. Could not figure out why. It was only one night and by the time I got in bed it was very late so I just dealt with it."

"The only thing that I didn't like was that it was too noisy while I was trying to sleep. I could hear people upstairs running. I could also hear conversations the people across the hall and next door were having. The walls are very thin. The breakfast was excellent though. The room was clean. Parking was good. The staff was very nice."

"Overall dirty. Hair in the tub. Bed was made with some one's dirty sweat pants that was there before us. No breakfast, there was some bagels and toast that looked like it was left from the prior day. New employees were very nice at check-in and check out."

"Horrible experience, the old man at the front desk was rude. The rooms are terrible spiders everywhere stains on the sheets no matter how many sheets you ask to change. Bathroom shower curtain are moldy, air conditioners smells horrible. Not pet friendly even though they say they are. The guy seen my dog at check in waved pet fee because she is under 30lbs, six hours into check in they kick me out because I had a pet and didn’t want to give me a refund for the remainder of my stay.
