"We really enjoyed staying there! Its our 21 years anniversary and we really enjoyed to walk, visit, and eat in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather area! I would recommend anyone to stay there!"

"Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area."

"The hotel was very clean and nice. My only disappointment was the check-in. The clerk was extremely slow getting us checked in. He also tried to say our room requested had been over booked after we had already called earlier in the day to let them know we were coming in late. We were finally able to get checked in after 20+ minutes [and yes, we were the only ones checking in]."

"Rooms have a weird smell. Did not use any amenities or have breakfast. There was garbage under one of the 2 beds. Carpets left my new white socks dirty on the bottom. Looks like the rooms have been recently updated, but the bathtub in one of the rooms had rust showing where the epoxy resurfacing wore through in front of the drain. Toilet kept running unless we picked up the tank lid to make it stop. WiFi is poor and annoying. Check in staff was busy smoking outside while I waited at the desk for...

"The price was reasonable for the room. I appreciate the wood laminate flooring, which seems much cleaner than carpeting. We appreciated the new decorative tile accents also. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the window coverings though. There was no sheer curtain to partially let in light, and only a very thick black curtain, which was full of little tiny holes. Otherwise, the property was convenient and acceptable. Also, a little Manuel with area, restaurants, and television directions...

"Double room on 2nd floor was clean, fresh and well kept. Staff at nighttime check-in was pleasant and more friendly over the day staff. Breakfast was fine and had variety."
