"This was the perfect hotel as it was close to a train station literally 3 min walk from the hotel and the train would get you to the centre of Edinburgh. The room was amazing, so was the staff and tge food was delicious!"

"Very clean space. Very economical for Edinburgh. A bit tight for 3 adults but we knew that before, knowing we would be there only for sleeping. Great location. Bus stop is right across the road. Less than 20 minutes to the heart of the city. "

"A very old building, without an elevator. Rooms are spacious but lacking maintenance; in our room, the wallpaper was held in place by black electrical tape (I wish I was kidding). There was a local festival directly across the street that was not explained to us before arriving."

"The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities."

"Plug socket sparked and started crackling so took phone of charge. Tried to turn shower on and electrics tripped and hasn’t worked since 23.00. Main light works so assuming it’s not connected to the rooms electrics since: Tv, kettle, chargers, lamps, shower and extension leads won’t work at all. Showers won’t work and no hot water. Reception man said there was fire day before so getting things back and running. Didn’t find out until we checked in and no prior messages or emails indicating...

"Charming place, right outside the Holyrood Palace. Clean and modern, no lift had to carry luggage up 3 flight of stairs. The building fire alarm is very sensitive. Close to Tesco express."

"Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto è stato gentilissimo, la camera era molto pulita e dotata di molti asciugamani e cuscini ma la cosa più bella a parer mio è stata la cucina condivisa dotata di tutto il necessario per cucinare, inoltre il personale mette a disposizione cialde di caffè, latte, cereali, pane, marmellata etc.."

"This rustic yet modern building is in walking distance of historic Edinburgh. The room and amenities were excellent, service great, the sister restaurant had excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend this hotel."
