"This was a first visit for our family- we spent 2 nights here and had booked 3 rooms in all. The location is excellent and we loved the fact that the hotel is directly opposite the Gurney Bay park- beautiful stretch of beach front and a promenade/boardwalk for walking. The property itself looks majestic from the outside and the common areas. The rooms were a little outdated; the carpets could do with an update as there was a musky smell all around. The toilets weren't flushing well- just an older property. The Buffet breakfast was decent and had a variety of food items. However, the service staff weren't welcoming. We had similar experience with a front desk staff as well. The complimentary pop and water bottles in the room were appreciated and a nice touch."
