"Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Bett war frisch und sauber überzogen. Das Gebäude und entsprechend auch die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen (muss nicht schlecht sein). Die Zimmer sind dadurch hellhörig und man hört wenn im Flur draußen Leute vorbeilaufen; der Fußboden knarzt. Es gibt keine Rolläden oder Verdunklungsvorhänge. Frühstück war nicht angeboten/möglich. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. "The place was cute. Very small room but you did get a small balcony. No AC and the hotel is on a main road so you did get traffic noise because your windows need to be open. Staff didn’t speak English and they were clearly frustrated I didn’t speak German. I have stayed at places where no one spoke English and they provided a piece of paper that had information about the hotel. This place made zero effort to accommodate international travelers. I would not stay here unless you speak FLUENT German. "
