"We had an amazing stay at the property, the view from my room was beautiful. The staff and everyone there were very friendly and welcoming.
We could see the famous nine arch bridge from the room as well as wake up to the beautiful mountains.
I would definitely recommend going there and enjoying the beautiful town of Ella. "
"The hotel is kept in great condition, the morning breakfast buffet has a good selection of western and Sri Lankan food. The rooms are spacious, the minibar is complementary, beds are comfy and you’re staying right next to the temple and a short walk from the lake."
"Staff are absolutely spot on, on the ball, very friendly. The hotel is very clean, rooms have amazing views over the valley. The rooms here were some of my nices on my trip to Sri Lanka. Naughty Monkeys pay a visit occasionally too! Its little put of town but going downhill, ypu can be in the centre of Kandy by walking in 10 mins. Coming back.... get a Tuk tuk! "
"Siisti, hieman historiaakin huokuva hotelli, ystävällinen palvelu. Ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Aamiainen oli ok. Keskeinen sijainti ml. juna-asemalle reilu 15 min. kävely tai tuktukilla 10 min. Tieto myöhäisestä uloskirjautumisesta ei kulkenut heillä sisäisesti, mutta asia saatiin selvitettyä nopeasti. Toinen pieni miinus usb-latausmahdollisuuden puuttuminen, kuitenkin olimme tänne asti selvinneet 2 viikon Sri Lankan lomalla ilman sikäläistä adapteria."
"Fantastic service from the staff. Great room with million dollar views. Most comfortable bed I have slept in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooftop with great infinity pool overlooking Kandy lake. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped...

The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly!
