We should have stayed elsewhere. My friend and I were staying for a con at the KC Expo Center. Just don't. The night shift guy that checked us in, only checked our door keys for one night so we were locked out of our room and we had full arms around noon to come back to our room. If you like jerry springer, there was people arguing in the hallways when we were trying to take a nap.
Our room had the most disgusting tub. You clearly could tell construction guys stayed there. There was black stains from grease and dirt on the back of the door and all in the tub. We had to go to target to get cheap flip flops as we were so grossed out by the tub and more pillows. When we were checking in, the manager wouldn't give us anymore pillows as we overheard him telling the night shift staff no.
The breakfast is a joke, its nuti-grain bars, muffins, oatmeal that you make with hot water from the coffee machine. There isn't milk as my friend was looking for it to make oatmeal but didn't as it was only hot water. We thankfully had leftover pizza from the night before. Just stay at the expo center hotel and pay for breakfast to not deal with this.
