Great little place in Karlsborg
This is a great place on the west shore of lake Vättern, best lodging in town with superb breakfast from their own bakery. Rooms are not top notch but good enough and clean. Added bonus is a kitchenette allowing You to heat store bought food.

Unique experience
Matts was very nice and came immediately upon our call to open up the hotel for us. It was really much more an Air B&B experience than a hotel experience. The place was very artsy and unique. We had a nice view of the water out our bedroom window and a small bathroom across the hall. our friends had a smaller somewhat dark room without a view. We enjoyed a light breakfast the next morning which did not include pastries.

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. The propty is just across the street from a park and the lakeshore. The owners, Mats and Carina are very nice and helpful on questions about the area. The rooms themselves are very clean and some have excellent views of Lake Vätern. Breakfast is simple and tasty. I will stay here again when in Karlsborg!

Die Lage ist sehr gut. In der näheren Umgebung stehen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung.Das Haus liegt direkt am See, nur durch eine Straße getrennt. Die Unterkunft ist etwas in der Jahre gekommen. Hat etwas von der Villa Kunderbunt ... positiv.

Personalen var så hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Stor frukost med hembakat frukostbröd. En härlig miljö på innergården och Vättern på andra sidan vägen. Enda nackdelen egentligen var att det är fruktansvärt lyhört! Tag med öronproppar, då går det bra.

Für eine Zwischenübernachtung. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht. Für 50€ wärs ok, aber nicht für 100€. Boden und Treppen knarzen. Austattung und Bad veraltet. Frühstück einfach, war noch mit Frischhaltefolie abgedeckt. Bett war gut. Würde nicht mehr buchen.
