"The place was nice. The staff were helpful and nice. I was happy that the hotel automatically didn’t clean the rooms unless asked. I had a loft room that was ok. I had a good amount of space but going up and down stairs is never ideal. It was mostly comfortable but the pillows were shockingly thin. They provided very little support. Other than that the bedding was fine. There was a little kitchenette that was nice. I was glad to have plates and silverware to use for some meals. The location was a bit removed from some of the things I wanted to see. Unfortunately it was in a kind of ‘dead zone’ for U-bahn stations, but there were other options to get around. The hotel is right above a grocery store so it’s very easy to grab a snack if you need it. I didn’t use the restaurant, bar, or spa but I’m glad they were there. Overall a pretty nice experience."

Unique place to stay in the heart of historic Old Town. Room was elegant, clean, quiet and comfortable. I had their breakfast on my last day and it was well presented and had many options. The team staffing the breakfast was charming and attentive. Thank you Platzl staff for a great stay in Munich!"
