"Wonderful location and staff"

"Our room was a rustic retreat! We loved the whole resort that had an exceptional welcoming front desk staff. Our room was comfy. A bit dated but that’s the rustic retreat look that made it feel so cozy. There’s a wood fire stove in the room but we didn’t use it because it was so warm that evening. Breakfast and dinner was very good!! I ordered a soup and did not like it, my husband loved his. They brought me something else and were so nice about it."

"Room has everything you would need. Jacuzzi tub fills up fast and plenty of hot water. AC is cold and the gas fireplace is a cool addition."

"Family owned and run. Hosts are available and very helpful. The property is beautiful and well thought out, comfortable , clean, and warm. Definitely recommend."

"Good location outside of Seward at the beginning of the scenic drive toward Exit Glacier. Our room did have a private bathroom and shower with the sink being in the main room. The two queen room was very space on furniture, you basicly have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. The weather was warm (64-70F) and with no a/c (very common in Alaska) and no cross fentilation the room was very difficult to cool down."

"We had a day of king salmon fishing planned in the area, so we decided to stay in Soldotna for the night. We paid $234 for a double queen room. The room had several issues. The air conditioner rattled throughout the night, one of the mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and the door was difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated an early check-in, which we appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not...

"Unfortunately, I would not stay at this hotel again. Upon arriving in our room, we found that both the heat and air conditioning appeared to be running at the same time. We were unable to find a way to turn the heat off, so we had to lower the air conditioning significantly just to make the room comfortable. The room also lacked some basic accommodations for a family of four. There were only two towels provided and only two small pillows per bed, requiring us to contact the front desk for...

"Cabin - Extremely small. No wifi, no tv, no dresser or closet. When I closed the door, the door 's window curtain fell because the nail holding one end came out. I do not recommend this accommodation."

"Clean room and friendly staff. Laundry room was nice. Kitchen was just enough. Wish there had been paper towels in the room as well as a dish cloth."

"Such a GREAT location in the city end of Seward. Walking distance between the shore, restaurant choices, bike/walking path, and a covered stop for the free shuttle (has 14 stops) to get around the Seward area which consists of City and Harbor areas."

"It was so small and there was no flexibility in the schedule when I got to the property. I wanted to cancel because the cabins were so tiny."

"While the outside looks worn the rooms are very nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are also comfortable. For fishermen there is easy access to the Kenai river with cleaning stations if you get lucky."
