Great Staff.

Have been here many times before and although the beauty of the island and the fabulous position of the hotel are great the reason we return are the wonderful welcoming staff led by Anna who always do their very best to make us feel at home. The other returning guests are also a factor as we have made many friends over the years.

A real gem of a hotel.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Right on the harbour the hotel has a fantastic sun deck and a view to kill for. Rooms are comfortable and clean all with great views. Breakfast is really good and the staff are wonderful. What else could you want.

Fabulous hotel to stay in. Stunning view of the harbour and excellent service. Anna and the staff made me feel welcome and provided exceptional service. An added bonus is that a full breakfast is included in the price. Large variety of food to choose from, including a cooked breakfast. If you want a bit of luxury - this is the place to stay!

Great location- very very friendly staff. The room was spacious ,the bed was very comfortable- nice balcony with seaview, overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was very good with many choices including greek pastry and delicious yogurt and natural honey- served by very friendly staff. I enjoyed every second of my stay in the hotel, will come back for sure next year. Thank you very much dear Maria, dear Anna and the whole Megisti family…

A real gem

This is a wonderful gem of a hotel situated on the best part of a beautiful small harbour and easily accessible to all the restaurants and sites. I have been staying here for years now and will certainly return again. Rooms are comfortable with a huge terrace looking over the harbour. Breakfast is a real treat and the snacks and lunch from the bar very good. The staff are outstanding and go out of their way to make you feel very welcome. Do yourself a favour and stay at this fantastic hotel on a beautiful island .

Friendly, relaxed generous spirited.

Ours was one of those serendipitous , last minute decisions , for which we are grateful.The management are generous with small things like quality Greek bathroom products, an extensive buffet breakfast...and their time for a friendly,informative chat. The rooms are spacious, and the aircon is well positioned to avoid the unhealthy blast of air. Balcony overlooks that $million view. An exceptional place.

A warm welcome and excellent, friendly and attentive staff throughout our stay! The hotel was in a perfect location with wonderful views from the room and the terraces. The food we sampled was excellent, although the restaurant was only open until 1500 hours early in May. We would have no hesitation recommending the hotel to others and we will certainly be returning their ourselves in the future.

This our third stay at this hotel. In short, we love it. It is comfortable, friendly and the location is amazing. Good breakfast, excellent facilities and the management and all the staff are wonderful.

Fantastic, friendly hotel in brilliant location

We stayed in the Megisti Hotel for three nights. We arrived on the ferry from Rhodes and within a short 10 minute stroll around the lovely harbour we were in the hotel. The check-in was seamless with cold refreshing drinks served as we completed the process. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home straight away. Our room was spacious, clean and airy with a wonderful view over the harbour to the old castle. Tea and coffee making facilities were available as was a small fridge with some complimentary drinks. For breakfast there was a buffet with a large variety of hot and cold options, coffee, various teas and freshly squeezed orange juice. The sun terrace was fantastic with comfortable beds and steps down into the sea. Towels were provided. There are many restaurants dotted around the harbour serving fresh fish and other traditional plates, none of which disappointed us. Although there were many excursions being advertised around the harbour, we didn’t do any of them, preferring to relax in the hotel. Maybe we wil try them on our next visit! What we did do was climb the 400 steep steps to the old St George Church. The panoramic views from the top were amazing. The total walk time from the hotel was about 40 minutes. Thanks again to all of the staff for such a memorable stay and for the goodbye waves as the ferry passed the hotel. We will see you again!♥️
