We were able to two safari on our one night stay. For our visit, we preferred the evening tour as seen a range of animals. "The room was ok, with good views of the lake, but found lots of creepy crawlies and insects in our room one inside bed, and one inside of a folded towel, the food was not that brill, we ordered prawn curry but they gave us shrimps, with watery gravy, probably ok for the locals. "

"Our host was exemplary in showing us the local area. We had a deeply moving experience at both Kataragama and Tissamaharama. Pradath is an excellent resource for All things Sri Lanka. The accommodations are first rate. Big comfortable bed. Modern shower and tub. A/C and Wi-fi work great. Excellent meals prepared. It is the perfect spot to retreat in the evening. We heartily recommend it and will hopefully return. "
