"The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. "Check in very professional. Booked here and explained building works at last place, requested quiet room which was allocated. Taps didn't work at sink. Door to hotel apartment is broken, only stays closed with key locking. Water pressures for the shower is a trickle. Rock hard mattress, needed duvet on top of bed to sleep on top for any comfort. WORSE! At 8am in the apartment next door, building work commenced to a deafening level as drilling and hammering. 90 minutes of HELLISH noise...

"Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating despite it coming towards end of season, room was spacious but could have been cleaner. The shower was amazing, great water pressure. Air con was loud but worked well. Loved the balcony and views of the sea, but the beach wasn’t very nice so we stuck to the pool, which was huge (and cold) but closed early. Food was nice enough for a buffet but would recommend trying out the local restaurants around the hotel to try real Cypriot food. The...
