"Very old property. Had a room upstairs right next to the stairs. Other guests were dragging suitcases up right next to our open window. Very noisy. Had to keep windows open because it was very warm and there was NO AC! And no elevator for us to get our luggage to our room. Fortunately someone helped us as we are in our late sixties. "The staff at Kauai Shores are wonderful. Everyone at the front desk: Novelle, Chevy and Angela are amazing and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Robertino helped us with our television and finding the World Cup channel. Peter makes sure the plants are pristine and well cared for. "Loved that the hotel was in an old Hawaiian neighborhood/area with chickens, cats, roosters and a peacock comfortably enjoying the property, as well. The staff was welcoming and friendly and helpful, when needed. Although we did not hang out, outside to listen to the live music, we enjoyed it from the comfort of our room.
